Yesterday, August 28, Rihanna was set to be honoured with the Micheal Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards and Drake went out of his way to show just how thrilled he is for her with the biggest gift, literally.
The pop queen took to her Instagram page to share a photo of the rapper's gift to her which was a billboard post where he congratulated her on her big win.
The billboard post read:
"Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at OVO.”
Commenting on the photo, Rihanna wrote:
“When he extra.”
This award marks a huge milestone for Rihanna as she joins the likes of Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, The Rolling Stones and Janet Jackson who have recieved this same honour.
Meanwhile, Rihanna and Drake has been rumoured to be dating on and off over the years but this seems to be the first form of confirmation indicating any strings between the pair.
Big congrats to her.
