Did American President really plagiarize Bee Movie in his inauguration speech?

Bee-Movie
When Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States on Friday, a lot of people were unhappy about it.

So when negative stories about him are shared on social media, they seem to take on a life of their own - spurred on by thousands upon thousands of retweets and ringing endorsements.

If it's negative, it must be true - right? Wrong.

Trump's campaign has been plagued by accusations of plagiarism - from Melania Trump 's speech which seemed to take words directly from Michelle Obama's mouth, to the cake baked for the Inauguration which was an exact replica of Barack Obama's from 2009.

In the last two days memes have been going viral on social media claiming that Trump plagiarised his speech from the 2007 animated film Bee Movie ( what's closer to the truth is that he plagiarised Bane's speech from a Batman movie - read more on that below).

The image features an extract from Donald Trump's Inaugural Address, in which he said: "We are one nation - and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success.

"We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny."

It is compared with a "quote" by character Barry B. Benson from Bee Movie, who is reported to have said: "We are one colony - and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success.

"We share one heart, one hive and one glorious destiny."
FALSE

But before Trump fires his speech writers, we should say that this is not at all true.

The entire script for Bee Movie is listed at the website Script-o-Rama.com. Do a quick search for any of the keywords listed in this quote (we tried 'colony', 'hive' and 'glorious destiny') and this extract is nowhere to be found.

It appears somebody has taken a quote from Trump's speech and edited it to look like it could have come from Bee Movie.
