Bastian Schweinsteiger shed tears on his last appearance for germany
INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL - After 120 appearances, 24 goals and with a world cup winner's medal to his name, the Manchester United midfielder has called time on his international career.
As shown as on BT Sport , Schweinsteiger decided to make his final bow in Germany's international friendly against Finland on Wednesday night.
Prior to kick-off, it all got a little too much for the former Germany captain - and he couldn't hold back his tears.
The German legend was presented with a framed picture and a bouquet of flowers as he received hugs from high ranking officials.
