India Ali, 32, had been invited for a meal at a Cheesecake Factory restaurant by James Baker.
After having their meal, the couple ended up at the Westin Hotel in Los Angeles, US - where Baker, 27, launched his horrific attack.
India was left with bruised eyes and suffered internal bleeding after the beating caused veins connecting to her brain to tear.
Police said the attack, which took place last July, was so brutal it caused her brain to twist inside the skull leaving her bleeding from her nose and ears.
Parker left India covered in her own blood and vomit when he fled the hotel room, near Los Angeles International Airport.
He was convicted of felony assault in April and faces a maximum of 10 years and four months in prison.
Speaking to the New York Daily News , India, from Los Angeles, said: "I lifted up my head and saw all the throw-up.
"My face was laying in it on the floor. I got up and looked on the bed and there was blood everywhere. I made my way to the bathroom and saw bloody towels on the floor."

After calling the police, India was transferred to hospital where she spent a week in intensive care.
Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney David Berger confirmed police were able to track Ali's cell phone and found Baker with her stolen car at a nearby Courtyard hotel.
She also warned others about the dangers of going on dates with someone they meet online.
India said: "I don't want anybody else to go through anything like this.
"I'm trying to put the word out for the younger generation. Don't meet up with someone you don't know like this. Just don't do it."
