Horrifying footage of little boy being hit by a car going 30mph outrages viewers who can’t decide if the driver or the ‘mum’ is to blame
HEART-stopping dashcam footage showing the moment a little boy on a scooter ploughs into the side of a moving car has split opinion over who is to blame for the horror smash.
The child is seen crossing the road with a woman, believed to be his mother, and rides into the rear door of an oncoming car doing 30mph.
Audiences online are divided, with some slamming the mother for not holding her son’s hand and others suggesting it was the Audi estate driver’s responsibility to stop.
Incredibly the child escapes uninjured after the vehicle swerves to a stop and the mum picks him up off the road.
The astonishing clip was uploaded to YouTube by PJGrant88 with the caption: “Child crashed scooter into side of Audi Viewer Discretion UK Dash Cam.”
The incident was filmed last month in Southampton and has received almost 10,000 views.
