University of Texas stabbing suspect named as ‘troubled’ Christian student – as singer dies and three others ‘seriously’ injured in knife attack

A BIOLOGY student “went on a knife rampage at a university campus last night – killing one and injuring three others”.

Kendrex J. White, 21, is accused of knifing aspiring singer Harrison Brown, also 21, to death in a vicious attack at the University of Texas at Austin yesterday.

Three others were rushed to hospital suffering "potentially serious injuries", according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

White was detained and taken into custody after armed police swooped on the university campus at around 1.46pm local time.

Harrison, who graduated last year but had recently joined an acapella group at the uni, died at the scene near the campus gym.
