Topic: Locating Your Life's Bearing
SCRIPTURE: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. – John 14:6.THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To live without Christ is to be forever lost in time and eternity.
A story was told of how a little boy got missing. He was later found by the police and they asked him where his house was so they could take him home. Unfortunately, the boy could not locate his house anymore. They also asked him the name of his father and he said that his father’s name was Daddy. The police said, “Okay, what is the name of your mother?” He said; “Mummy.” What a challenge!
Wondering what to do with the boy, they further asked him if he could remember any landmark close to his house. He told them that there was a big church that was painted white, close to his house. On the roof of the church building was a big white cross. He said, “Take me to that cross and I will find my way home” Incredible!
That cross became a bearing to his house.
Beloved, the most important aspect of any man’s life is his spiritual life. You can locate your bearing in life if your spiritual bearing is right. To live without Christ is to be forever lost in time and eternity.
Remember this: To live without Christ is to be forever lost in time and eternity.
