Nigerian Tonye (De-Boy) set a world record after walking 60km with a ball On his head

Nigerian Boy Tonye walked 60km with a ball on his head

Finally, history has been made. Tonye aka De Boy who started his 60km Walk from Amassoma, Southern Ijaw, LGA of Bayelsa State has reached the 60km destination (Peace Park, opposite Government Yenagoa. Although the record would have been thwarted with mighty breeze and showers but it was taken care of technical (Manual wind prevention).

This record has made him snatched the defending Champion, Abdul Halim of India.

The Indian soldier had beaten the world record earlier set by 42 year old Bangladesh’s footballer Abdul Halim, who travelled for just 15.2 Km with a ball on his head on 22nd October , 2011.

Today Tonye, Bayelsa born, has broken that record since 2011 from 15.2km to 60km.
