But it looks as though Michelle Fowler's secret is set to be uncovered as their romance is revealed to all and sundry after an evening the in the Queen Vic goes wrong.

Monday's episode of EastEnders will tee-up a dramatic week for the recently returned resident and her American teenage toyboy, who have so far managed to keep their sexual relationship under wraps (sort of).

Having been discovered by Denis, and then subsequently blackmailed by Sharon's despicable little boy, Michelle looked ready to snap after she belted the trouble-making youngster.

And ramping up the pressure, her 17-year-old lover has now officially entered a relationship with her equally-troubled niece, Bex.

But, as the happy schoolgirl revels in the throes of her new relationship with the strapping American, everything goes south.

As Bex and Preston perform on-stage at the Queen Vic's '60s night the blue-touch paper is lit and Michelle's world comes crashing down around her.

In front of her aghast loved-ones, friends and neighbours, her secret is revealed - and the resident's of Albert Square are nothing but shocked.

As the dramatic events surrounding her romance with Preston unfold, the pair's actions have more consequences than simple public outrage.

The dramatic events lead to Michelle snapping and losing control in a big way – something she's already partially done.

And it would seem that her anger and shame set-up an event which has far-reaching and devastating consequences for several Walford stalwarts.
